Hi, I’m Mel

I've been lucky to call Torquay home for over 10 years, drawn here by the incredible lifestyle. Now, as a mum of two young children without local family support, I needed a career that allowed for a better work-life balance - something that fit around school hours. That’s when I decided to carve out my own path and build a career doing what I truly love.

With a degree in Health Information Management and over 10 years of hands-on experience across Hospital Administration, Clinical Coding, Freedom of Information, Reception, Hospitality, and more than seven years in Recruitment, I created Foxelite Recruitment with one mission: to connect the right candidates with the right employers in industries I know and understand deeply.

I partner closely with both employers and job seekers to ensure a strong match - not just based on skills and experience, but aligned with company culture, values, and long-term potential. My recruitment approach is personal, relationship-driven, and focused on lasting success.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the gym, spending time with family, experimenting in the kitchen, or enjoying a well-earned coffee.
